Mimi's Surprise Party....90th

It was Indeed...   AWESOME.

It was Mimi's Surprise birthday party...her 90th. To say it was Overwhelming...would be a major understatement. We came from Los Angeles and and Palm Beach and from everywhere in between.

Friends from Mimi's 9 decade lifetime were in heavy attendance. Even those dearly departed years earlier were there...making their presence felt.

She worked the room like a politician...meeting and greeting everyone. One would have thought she would have been speechless at the outpouring of affection and memories...but we're talking about Mimi Chaplin here...remember?

She delivered a touching response of acknowledgement, alluding to the rich mosaic that has made up her life, and to those of us in the room. Not a dry eye in the house. Awesome, I say again.

And major recognition goes to Stacey Chaplin, Cliff's wife, for putting this thing together and keeping it a secret for all this time. Bravo, signora.
