Not the Republic - that's too easy
Not the Times - that's too sleazy.
In the world of puzzles eternal
I completed the W.S. Journal !
I say with triumph...and with pride,
But you know I grieve inside.
It takes a week before another
Reappears. Oh help me mother.
Unoccupied...Got nothing better
Than to write a dumb Newsletter.
I know it's bad and it's not nice
But you guys must pay the price.
If I don't have a puzzle to do
Who else am I gonna screw?
Newsletter readers, there's a twist
You reply to saty ON the list,
Not realizing it's a trap
You continue to receive this crap
But calm yourselves, allay your fears,
'til Friday, a new puzzle appears.
GIMME AN AMEN !
